Training Practice

We are a training practice affiliated to the University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University and The North Western Postgraduate Deanery for Medicine.

As a practice, we are actively involved in helping to train medical and nursing students, qualified doctors who are training to become GPs and qualified nurses who are training to become practice nurses.

From time to time, these trainees may be present when you come to see the doctor or nurse and you may be asked to talk with them directly. Sometimes you may be asked if they can perform an examination or procedure under supervision.

We will always ask your permission regarding this. You are under no obligation to talk with them or to agree to any procedure being undertaken by our trainees. If you prefer not to meet with them then please just let us know. We will respect this decision and it will in no way affect you relationship with any of our team.
